Walter Duke White was born June 27, 1980 in Decatur, Georgia.    He grew up in several areas of the United States, including Texas, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, California, and Missouri.  On October 5, 1996, he moved permanently from Eldon, Missouri to Independence, Missouri, where he resides with his wife and son.

Duke enjoys writing, playing, and recording music; movies; books; collecting coins and Mad Magazines; and traveling.

He received his Associate of Arts Degree from MCC in 2011, his Associate of Arts in Teaching from MCC in 2012, and he is in the process of obtaining his BA in Middle School English from UMKC, which he should receive in 2014.
